"Okay, Herby," Kari said, as she began to smile. "You talked me into it. I'll ride with you for awhile, but no fancy stuff."

"You're a natural, Kari," Herby said, as they skated down the street. "See, I told you it would be a blast."

"You're right, Herby. This is totally awesome!" Kari yelled. "Let's head for the school playground. Maybe Brittany and Brandon will be down there."
